Gabe's Cali Trip

April '13
 Just gorgeous. Long Beach.

Gabe's beautiful sister Adria. My sister too!

 Gabe and her Gma Ruth

 Moma Smart!

My wifey has some sexy legs!

Love love love the different colored wood paneling. Looks like restored barnwood.

Gabe had an ECNL event out in California with her 96 Avalanche team. She was able to stay out there for a couple of extra days to spend time with her Mom, Adria, Uncle Roy and Gma. One of our dreams is to get a little RV and be able to travel together as a family to our soccer team's tournaments/events. We hope to get one in the next few years if everything goes according to plan :) But we all know how well things pan out when we meticulously plan. One day at a time!

Easter

Easter '13

 Egg Hunt

Once they let you into the 'egg hunt', you were only allowed to put 5 eggs in your basket and then exit. Rio did not get it and was not happy about it. You can see Gabe grab his arm as soon as he picked up his 5th egg.

Rio was very excited putting the eggs in his basket and then trying to take RJ's.

Rio loves being around people. He stays close to us but if he sees boys he will flock to them.

Yes, this dude has a big doll he is holding that looks very much like a real baby.

 All smiles at the zoo.

Our little dreamboat.

For Easter, Gabe found a little Easter Egg gathering that she thought would be fun for Rio. When we got there, it was nothing like we thought. It was at a church and they passed out free boxes of ceral when you walked in. They did have an easter egg hunt for the kiddies but before you could do it, you had to sit down and listen to a lady talk about Jesus and the devil. The kids got little tie-die colored stuffed bear Jesus's. It was pretty awesome. Rio had a blast and I enjoyed people watching the entire time. We also had a little easter egg hunt at our place with Ashton Toddbarrett,  Todd, Paiger, and Hunter along with a trip to the zoo.

Home Sweet Home

March '13

 Rio and RJ hanging.

Bella is always somehow able to snuggle herself in the most oddest places. The chair rocks with just a slight touch, so I am always impressed whenever I find her in it. Love her.

 Backyardigans pleeeease!

Bella loves loves loves peanut butter, but unfortunately she is allergic to it. Whenever I am making rice cakes or PB&Js, she comes and sits right by my side expecting a little taste. So sad!

Some of the best days of mine are spent at home. I love being warm at home with the dogs, Rio, and Gabe. I try to plan fun activities for Rio and keep a somewhat consistent routine for him but sometimes I just like to curl up with a book and let Rio curl up with the Kindle :)

Office visits with MomG

March '13

We love that we live so close to MomG's work! We try to get up there and have lunch with Gabe a few times during the week. Rio loves it. He has his own little spot where he likes to sit and play. It is also nice when it is cold outside to go up there so he can run around the Huntsman Center. So fun!

Phoenix Visit ll

Phoenix February '13

On our way to visit my cousins! Yeahhh!!

Rio was great on the flight. We were both pretty nervous. He has flown a handful of times since he has been born but we still are terrified every time we fly with him that he will have a melt down. Well actually I am... Gabe is always cool as a cucumber about it :)

All the kiddies were excited to put the ear plugs in when we went to go see Uncle Jefferson's jets. I was shocked Rio kept his in!

Not sure if this will show up but my favorite part is Court and Jefferson in the background videoing Mia making the same little baby talk sounds Gabe and I are making to get Rio's attention. Sooo funny!

Any chance Rio got he would try to sneak and sit in Mia's walker. He loved it!

We are always so excited to go and look at the Air Force Jets. Jefferson took us on a little tour and Rio was absolutely enthralled! It is fun to watch Hinckley, Leah, Ben and Mia flock to their Daddy and see in their faces how proud they are that Daddy flies planes. Love it! We are proud too!

Phoenix Visit

 February 2013

I was super excited for this trip as Miss Mia is older and I could not wait for her and Rio to play. Lol... It did not turn out how I imagined. They had a couple cute moments, but most of the time they were either yelling at each other, pulling each other's hair, pushing the other one down (that was just Rio!) or trying to take each other's toy any time they got a chance. I felt so bad and Courtney reasurred me that it was the age- or she was just trying to make me feel better that I have a little monster ;)

 Rio absolutely loved the swings.

 Mia too!

MomG your suppose to push the swing not my head.

 Ben kept saying higher, higher!

 Love my Benben

 My sweet Leah

Hinckley is growing so fast. I cannot believe he is going to be 7 soon. He is such a great big brother and I love having adorable little conversations with him. I had to play it cool around him because every second I just wanted to give him hugs and kisses!

 Sexy legs!

 The ladies

 My boy

Love when Rio makes this face. He has a few different ones he showcases often. Courtney did a great job taking pics and captured all three of his looks.

 Mr. Hollywood

Tried to sneak a kiss in :)

 Another favorite face.

Rio is a pretty snuggly kid. He lets us give him kisses and hugs all day. I hope he does not grow out of it anytime soon.

Love love love Ben's smile. It is contagious.

It will be fun to see what Leah is passionate about as she gets older. She is so athletic! I know she will be amazing in whatever she does.

 And another favorite face.

I had a soccer tournament out in Phoenix and was able to stay with Court, Jefferson, and the kiddies for a week afterwards. Gabe was able to stay a couple days and then had to get back to work. It was a blast. Each day we did something fun. I love how Court is active with her kids and has cute little outings planned for them throughout the week. She is such a good Mama!
