Ute Kickers Camp l

June 2013

One of Rio's favorite girlfriends on the U of U team.

The time we were able to get Rio on the field, he just wanted to observe and watch the older boys play. We did get him to kick the ball a few times!

Rio loved hanging out and riding in the golf cart.

Go Utah!

Rio had his first soccer camp this week. He did pretty good. He would rotate going on the field with playing on the golf cart. It was a blast watching him interact with the other campers. He made a couple friends. Unfortunately, I did not get as many pictures as I would have liked!

Playground Fun

May 2013
As Rio gets older, we are starting to see his confidence grow in different areas. A couple months ago, Rio would not go down the slide unless we held his hand, now we cannot keep him off.

Rio loves taking moments out of climbing around the playground to come to the music area. He hits it up about 4-5x while we are there. Super funny to watch.

 Mr. Cool

Getting a little frustrated but keeps at it.

It is so nice when Gabe gets off work and we go to the playground as a family. I love every second I get to spend with Rio but there is something special about watching him play with his MomG. I am so lucky to have these two in my life.

Zoo in the Spring

May 2013

Rio loves going to the zoo now. He is starting to recognize the different types of animals and enjoys watching them play-or rather pace-in their enclosures. It is still hard for me to go to the zoo and see how depressed the animals are but Rio loves it and maybe one day we can take him to another country to do conservation work, where he can be educated on how amazing zoo animals are and how we can help them. I cannot wait to start taking Rio to Ching Farm where I used to volunteer, where he can learn about farm animals and how to feed and clean up after them.

Phoenix Trip Part ll

April 2013
One of the adorable parks we went to while visiting Courtney in Phoenix. It was a concrete splash pad park. Rio was not really into it but Mia and Ben loved it. One day Rio will love the water!

Gaining his independence @ 19 months.

Rio loved following Mia around the playgroud. I think he was very impressed with her playground climbing skills for such a young age.

 One of Rio's favorites.

Poor guy gets super rosy red cheeks like his Momma Meg when it gets warm outside.

Best idea ever. Next x-mas we will be getting one!

Rocking the pony. Sometimes I can distract Rio into letting me put his hair in a pony tail. I love it, Gabe not so much ;)

Wants to be just like his big boy cousin Hinckley.

Cannot wait to show Mia this pic when she gets older- my first photo bomb pic! Feel so cool.

Ben and Rio hung out a lot during this trip. It was so adorable to see. Ben is amazing with Rio.

 They could pass as brothers!

Sweet Auntie Chichi trying to show Rio how fun the water can be with water toys.

Rio was having plenty of fun just watching his cousins play in the water.

Too cute.

Rio kept whining to go inside.

And this is what happened every time I let him go in.

Courtney doing my hair is a must anytime I come to visit. It feels so good and she is amazing at it!

 Good morning!

Rio loved playing on Court's piano. I always wanted a piano in my home for my children to play. It is a beautiful instrument.

Uh-oh taking after his Momma Meg!

All boy these two. Hinckley showed Rio how to dig and then fill in the holes. I don't know what game they were playing but all the kids started playing. Nothing better then to watch kids play together and use their imaginations.

 Where's Rio!?

My boy.
