Happy Birthday Gabe!

February 2013
Gabe's first beer in a couple years since she figured out she was gluten intolerant. You cannot tell from the picture but this bottle was huge! Court if you ever want a beer, we found one you can have... Lol!!

Gabe got some amazing gifts from good friends... sweet sunglasses, a kindle, and an adorable little tea pot.

Chelsey reserved us a table at the moon. The moon is a gay bar in slc. It was so fun and it was nice to have everyone come- gay or straight!

For Gabe's birthday we had a little get together at Fiddler's Elbow in Sugarhouse and then went to the Moon to party!!! Lol.. We were so lucky to have Ashton, Todd, Paige, and Hunter watch our Rio. I am so thankful that Gabrielle was born. She is the most amazing partner, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Everyday, I learn something new from her and fall more in love. She works extremely hard for our family and I am immensely grateful to have her in my life.
Happy 37th babe!

Little Gym Fun

February '13

 Rio and his buddy Nate

We are so lucky to have a wonderful teacher for Rio- she is absolutely amazing with the kids and Rio adores her.

MomG and Rio stretching, getting ready for Little Gym.

Little Gym has helped Rio with his perfect posture- Lol!

We are so thankful to have this little class Rio loves to go to. The best part is that we both get to join in on the fun with him. As they get older, they start to have classes where they just do the class with the teacher. That will be a sad day for me! But of course I will be outside watching him through the glass :)

Cabin Fever

January '13
Gabe and Justin @ the U of U indoor soccer showcase early in the morning :)

As Rio's hair is getting longer, he continues to get the greatest bed head in the mornings. I love it!

 Hottie

Rio got in my boots all by himself. I was quite impressed and very thankful the camera was within reaching distance.

 Best pals.

Rio loves playing with his blocks. I cannot wait until we can get legos for him when he gets older.

One of my favorite parts of the day.

 The crew.
The work of one of my 97 scr players. Sooo funny!

It has been a crazy winter this year. We have gotten a lot of snow. Days are pretty much spent inside the house and at soccer trainings. Rio loves hanging out while Gabe and I train our teams. The girls are adorable with him and he definitely loves the attention from all the ladies. He has a few "girlfriends" he flocks to. I will try and get pics of them for another post.

Court's Winter Visit

January '13
Ben had a great time sledding! No fear this one.

One of my wishes is for Rio to always wear a winter onesie all the way until he is 18 :)

Leah was so funny to watch go down the hill. With the saucer sleds, they sometimes would do a 180' and then go backwards the rest of the way. A little scary!

-Charles Spurgeon

Courtney was such a good Mama! She would run down the hill to make sure the kiddies did not get hit by other sledders. She knocked a couple random kids off their sled when they got too close to her babies. Lol... joking :)

Sledding is great but I cannot wait to go down the mountain, side by side with Rio snowboarding.

Look at that face! He really does love you Court.

  A little better

Much Better!

Courtney and the clan came for a little visit while they were in town. We all took the kids sledding at Sugarhouse Park. It was a blast. The adults went down a few times as well. Life does not get better than this. Having kids is like experiencing childhood all over again- making wonderful memories and creating a wonderland for them is indescribable. I am so thankful I have an amazing partner to share it with. We adore our Rio and find so much entertainment and joy in just taking little moments throughout the day to watch him use his imagination.
